Summary Title: POW: The Experiences of an American Airman in German Stalags from April 1942 to July 1945 Author: Edgar Moore Type: HTML Publication date: 1998 Summary: A colorful and detailed World War Two (WWII) account of a United States Army Air Force B-17 navigator shot down over France and severely wounded. Found by the French resistance, Moore was turned over to the Germans who could care for his wounds. Following hospitalization and interrogation in France, he was interned in Stalag Luft I. He was eventually repatriated with other severely wounded POWs, and retired from the USAAF. Contains numerous photos and drawings from the author's collection.
