was a fun-loving girl who had many talents.
At one time she played the organ in a restaurant five nights a
week. She could play jazz
piano by ear and could do most any kind of craftwork; in fact, she was a
craft teacher, teaching the ancient art of quilting, tole painting,
goldleafing and the making of porcelain flowers.
Her husband, George, was a jeweler before retirement and later

Edward Kunesh (dec) Vera grew up in Wichita and she and Virgil spent their married life in Wichita, where Virgil had his own plumbing and heating business. Virgil died suddenly of a heart attack in 1967. In 1971, Vera and an old friend, Edward J. Kunesh, were married. They made their home in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Florida for many years, and I believe in Scottsdale, Arizona later. They enjoyed each other’s families, and even after Ed's death, Vera is fondly claimed by all of his family. For the past two years Vera has lived with her daughter-in-law, Joyce, in Evans, Georgia. In January, 1998, she will move to be near Keith. Address:

for a number of years in Wichita where he was head basketball coach at

has been with Pizza Hut franchises for many years and has homes in
