In
California, Barbara met a dentist and married him.
They bought a nice house and proceeded to have a daughter, Marisa.
Lee’s former wife had died and so his daughter, Leslie, lived with
them. When Lee found an office,
Barb helped him with his office work, and later also assisted him in his
work.

Eventually,
Barbara separated and divorced Lee. She
lived in a condo with Marisa, close to the school.
Barb found a job to support them and continued to attend the same
church where she had already made many friends.
Life was good to her and eventually
she remarried. At this
time, she is happily living in a nice 4-bedroom home with her husband, Larry
Richards. Her daughter, Marisa,
is in college in San Diego.

Fred
in the Kansas State Legislature in 1967
My
mother came to Wichita to live with Fred and me and our two daughters. My husband and I had a good life in Wichita.
Fred was well liked and served as a Representative in the Kansas State
Legislature. Mother was well and helped me enormously, both physically and as
a good companion.
After
the death of my husband in 1993, I lived alone in our home on Bainbridge Ave.
for a year, then moved to my present home at Larksfield Place.
